Why does Stratford need additional support beyond tuition?
Like most independent schools, tuition covers only a portion of the actual cost of a Stratford education. Stratford’s tuition covers 81% of the cost to educate one student. Gifts to the Annual Fund bridge the gap and directly enhance academics, arts, athletics, financial aid, and our campus.
Can I choose where my gift goes?
You can select an area, or multiple areas, you would like your gift to support, such as Academic Excellence, Tuition Assistance, Athletics, Fine Arts, Campus & Grounds, or the Area of Greatest Need, in the “Your Donation” section.
How do I become a member of the Stratford Society?
Stratford Giving Levels have remained the same since the 1990s. This year, we’re introducing new Giving Levels and names. Stratford Society Leadership giving level now begins at $1,500.
Is my gift tax-deductible?
Yes. Stratford Academy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and your donation is tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
Can I set up a recurring gift?
Yes! Monthly or quarterly gifts are an easy way to maximize your impact and provide steady support throughout the year.
My employer matches gifts made to qualifying non-profits. Does Stratford accept matching gifts?
Yes! Many companies match gifts made to Stratford. Check with your employer to possibly double or triple the impact of your donation. You receive an automatic tax receipt when you make a gift. Should you need further receipts or information to submit your request, please email [email protected].
