What is Stratford’s Day of Giving?
It’s a 36 hour celebration of philanthropy where our community comes together to support students, faculty, and programs through the Annual Fund.
Why does Stratford need additional support beyond tuition?
Like most independent schools, tuition covers only a portion of the actual cost of a Stratford education. Stratford’s tuition covers 81% of the cost to educate one student. Gifts to the Annual Fund bridge the gap by immediately and directly enhancing academics, arts, athletics, financial aid, and our campus.
Can I choose what area my gift supports?
You can select the area(s) you would like your gift to support, such as the Area of Greatest Need, Academic Excellence, Athletics, Fine Arts, Campus & Grounds, or Tuition Assistance, in the “Your Donation” section.
Is my gift tax-deductible?
Yes. Stratford Academy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and your donation is tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
Can I set up a recurring gift?
Yes. Monthly or quarterly gifts are an easy way to maximize your impact and provide steady support throughout the year. You can set up your recurring gift in the “Your Donation” section.
My employer matches gifts made to qualifying non-profits. Does Stratford accept matching gifts?
Yes! Many companies match gifts made to Stratford. You can search heck with your employer to possibly double or triple the impact of your donation. You receive an automatic tax receipt when you make a gift. Should you need further receipts or information to submit your request, please email [email protected].
I would like to give through a method not offered here. Can it still be counted towards Day of Giving??
